Rules for admission to postgraduate classes and ranking of merit

1.) The minimum qualification for admission to the postgraduate classes of Arts, Commerce and Informal Education faculties will be a minimum of 40 percent marks in the B.Sc./B.A / B.Com examination of this university or any other recognized university.

2.) Applicants appearing in NCC / NSS will be awarded marks as per rules.

B' certificate holder one percent and C 'certificate holder three percent marks. Two percent marks will be given to the candidates participating in two camps of NSS and one percent marks will be given to the candidates participating in one camp. The student working in the literacy act will be entitled to a percentage of university certificate

Freedom fighters, former or working soldiers and dependents of paramilitary forces under the Union Ministry of Home Affairs (husband-wife / son-daughter / grand-daughter) will be given the benefit of two parent additional marks with the restriction that they will be competent officers. Present the certificate of Dependents (husband-wife / son-daughter) of teachers and non-teaching staff working in the university and dependents (husband-wife / son-daughter) of teachers and staff of affiliated colleges in the same college in which their parents / husband-wife are employed If they are, they will have ten extra digits.

3.) Five marks for the gap will be deducted from the merit list every year. Admission will not be available after more than two years gap. Ten marks will be reduced under the above rule. If the candidate has taken admission in any professional course after the entrance examination conducted by the university and has also given his examination, then that period will not be considered as a gap.

4.) After the personal examination, students / students who want to get admission in BA, B.Com, M.A., M.Com, Second and Third year, they are required to get minimum 40% marks in the qualifying examination.

Necessary instructions for scholarship-
a.) It is necessary to open an account in the bank for scholarship.
b.) Caste certificate is required.
c.) Permanent residence certificate is required.
d.) Income certificate is necessary for the year2020-21.

Special Notes: Examination fee of the university will be payable per semester separately by each faculty funded and self funded student.
